Community Action Program Assistance comes to New River Senior Center

In time or crisis or unusual stress people often need to reach out for immediate help. Happily, the Foundation for Senior Living has partnered with area communities to administer appropriate help with personal care and encouragement.

Community Action Programs provide emergency assistance, referrals, short-term case management, and education services for the communities of Peoria and Wickenburg

Poker Ride Great Success - 5/11/2009
The annual equestrian Poker Ride fundraiser for Larkyn Memorial Arena was a big success this year with 90 registrants. The trail was fun, all the horses behaved themselves and the weather was just perfect. Thanks to all the raffle item donors and other volunteers who worked to make this a good event for our equestrian community.
